"We’ve had a lot of communication issues and accuracy issues with this office. I am not trying to be unfair or disparage anybody, but I just felt like there was a lack of effort and customer care at this office. We asked several times for them to mail a physical copy of our insurance cards during renewals and they couldn’t even be bothered to do that, which is quite standard. There have been inaccuracies, lack of transparency and communication with rate increases, been told one thing on the phone with office staff and another thing when we talk to the agent etc. Most recently, I simply asked that they please honor our original rate due to an error his office made, and I pointed out that all the while we’ve still never received physical copies of our cards which hindered our ability to catch the error. My email was ignored entirely, but I was responded to quickly when I requested a change of agent. He made no effort to retain our business and didn’t care how poorly our account had been handled."

"Started with State Farm Last year and an incident with hail in the fall. So I filed a claim, the adjuster stated there was NO hail damage.? Then they said they will not be renewing my insurance later this year. NOT VERY PROFRESSIONAL. I was with them before.... my how times have changed. PICK ANOTHER INS NOT STATE FARM!!!!"

"My son had an accident and when he called to file a claim using our comprehensive coverage he was told by staff to "call the other insurance" without any guidance or explanation. Ended up calling state farm directly to file the claim and set up a rental. I called the office to complain and was told that there was no note that my son called and that he misunderstood what he was told suggesting he was advised to call the other insurance to avoid paying the deductible. None of that was part of the conversation. I felt a young driver was misled and not appropriately informed by this office. We pay for comprehensive coverage for a reason. He was not at fault and we can recover the deductible None of the times we have called have we ever talked to Mr. Slaydon himself. It is always a staff member. Not great customer service when in need."
